Sea House - Extensive Refurbishment & Extension

The brief was to dramatically remodel and extend a 1970’s beach front house located in a conservation area in a picturesque East Devon seaside town on the Jurassic Coast, into a sustainable ‘New England’ meets Georgian style period property.

The changes to the internal and external layout were designed to create a new hierarchy to the house that would meet the requirements of the owners in terms of privacy, function and sustainability.

This, elegant, stylish project successfully demonstrates sustainable re-use of existing 1970’s housing.
