Description

The transformative residential development within the rural village of Flawborough features the conversion of a traditional agricultural barn plus the residential redevelopment of an area previously housing an equestrian centre to create two four-bedroom dwellings.

Our carefully curated material palette reflects the residential brick tones and pantile roof of the former agricultural barn to remain aligned with other dwellings within the vicinity.

The scale of the development, the size and positioning of the dwellings have been meticulously considered to harmonize with the surroundings providing generous private gardens to the front and rear, fostering a sense of community and individuality.

An important feature of the development for us and the client was to install air source heat pumps to provide a sustainable heating solution and assist in managing increasing energy costs.
