Design Haus is an award-winning, RIBA chartered architectural practice based in Nottingham, led by its founder James Brindley.
We specialise in creating bespoke residential architectural projects across the UK and abroad.
We do things differently. We’re pioneers in the use of virtual reality technology. This gives you the opportunity to walk through the rooms and spaces of your design before building work even begins. The result is a fundamentally collaborative design process and a crystal-clear understanding of the finished project.
Our use of digital technology also enables us to work with clients all over the world. We have the infrastructure in place to communicate and collaborate on design no matter where our clients live.

Design Haus’ founder, James Brindley, is one of the few designers in the UK who is accredited with both the RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architecture) and BIID (British Institute of Interior Design). This allows Design Haus Architecture to offer a specialised service across both disciplines.
I believe that a successful project is defined by how unique and personal a design can be to a client. I love communicating with clients about their ideas and dreams of a space - it’s why I started Design Haus and it’s why I love working as a designer and architect.
During my career, I have completed a large number of projects ranging from private homes and home extensions to commercial buildings. I pride myself on my ability to accurately translate my clients’ visions into reality while suggesting innovative new ideas from the world of architecture to produce uniquely tailored designs.
